Hairstylist/apprentice

Overview

Duties:

• Provide a wide range of hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and extensions-Training is provided for services
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the cosmetology industry
• Social media management
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and desired outcomes
• Recommend and sell hair care products to clients
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and salon

Requirements:

• Valid cosmetology license in the state of [Location]
• Proven experience as a cosmetologist, with a portfolio of previous work

• In-depth knowledge of color theory and the ability to create customized hair colors for clients
• Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their preferences
• Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
• Ability to upsell salon services and products to increase revenue

* Pay rate: Hourly $11 plus tips or commission 45% for first year, with an increase to 50% the second year
