The Bees Knees Hair Studio (established 2011) is a boutique salon nestled off the bricks of historic Camp Bowie in Fort Worth with 11 independent stylists servicing hair, nails, lashes and brows.
About The Bees Knees Hair Studio
The Bee’s Knees is a trendy salon located off Camp Bowie in the heart of the cultural district. We are looking for a polished and reliable front desk team member to work Fridays and rotating Saturdays. Salon experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Responsibilities include:
warmly greeting clients and alerting assigned stylist of their arrival
booking and confirming appointments via phone and email
processing transactions (cash and credit cards) and issuing receipts
work closely with each stylist to optimize their schedule and double book when appropriate
keeping up with laundry during shift
light cleaning (dusting retail, maintain reception area & sweeping floor)
Requirements:
experience working with computers and scheduling software
excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
solid organization and record-keeping skills
an ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances
