Salon Assistant / Stylist

Overview

We are expanding and growing  here at Relaxed and Natural Hair Studio! Currently we are seeking out TWO enthusiastic, hardworking team players to grow with us.

Qualifications:

• Be currently enrolled in a cosmetology program or hold a Texas Cosmetology license
• Some experience preferred but not required
• This position could possibly transition into a commission stylist position

Overall Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls
• Greeting clients in and out of the salon
• Assist in checking out clients/rebooking appointments
• Become educated in salon retail/sale client’s products
• Prepping clients for services (shampoo/conditioning etc.)
• Assisting clients to/from the shampoo bowl and hair dryer
• Keeping salon area clean
• Washing combs/brushes
• Cleaning/Folding Towels
• Maintaining positive energy and conversation with clients regarding hair
