Overview
The Stylists mentoring program partners a senior hair stylist and a junior hair stylist, with the goal of further assisting the junior stylist in the development of their styling techniques and business skills. The objective is for the junior stylist to learn from the senior stylist, and after a period of time the junior stylist will be ready to move into a suite of their own with an established clientele.
The junior stylist participating in this program will benefit by improving their technical skills, their confidence, and their business skills, which should result in a significant acceleration of their overall cosmetology business. The junior stylist will gain valuable experience and knowledge in a shorter period of time under the mentorship of an experienced stylist, which might otherwise take years to accomplish. The junior stylist will have an opportunity to build their business through referrals from the mentor stylist, salon walk-ins and new clients generated by the Old World Salons website. The junior stylist will also benefit from building and conducting their cosmetology business with all the advantages Old World Salons offers.
The mentoring period is for 6 months. During that time the rent payment is greatly reduced and set at 50% of your income up to a maximum of $150/week. Thus removing the pressure of a fixed rent: you only pay us when you have customers.
