As a Mayvenn Beauty Expert, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and will set and exceed their expectations for their end-to-end Mayvenn experience. As the initial face of the Mayvenn brand, you’ll have the opportunity to put your passion for beauty on full display while ensuring that everything in the store is clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready to wow our clients. You will provide friendly and knowledgeable hair and salon services advice, as well in-store consultations for clients.

We are currently hiring in our Dallas, TX store, located at 15220 Montfort Drive Dallas TX 75050

What You’ll Do

Promptly acknowledge and warmly greet each client entering the store
Offer friendly and knowledgeable client consultations; determine each client’s needs and answer questions concerning products and services
Recommend additional services based on client interests or items already selected for purchase
Inform clients of current promotions, events, and services within the store
Educate clients on Mayvenn 30 Day Guarantee
Serve multiple clients at one time while maintaining composure during busy or peak selling times
Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
Set up advertising displays and/or arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events, but not limited to – light styling hair, combing/brushing merchandise on display to ensure our merchandise looks presentable.
Ensure the store inventory is replenished throughout the day
Ensure overall store cleanliness
Stay informed regarding new or existing products (e.g., their benefits and tips and tricks) to better serve clients

You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
You have 2+ years of sales and retail experience working in a sales-oriented business
You’re passionate about helping people look and feel their best
You truly have a passion for beauty
You are client service centered – you possess an innate desire to deliver a best-in-class experience to clients
You have the ability to communicate on a consultative level as a subject matter expert
You have strong attention to detail
You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
You listen effectively and show respect for others’ opinions
You demonstrate the core values of authenticity and respect
You’re flexible on working weekends and holidays
Bonus points if you…

Have previous hair knowledge and/or training
Have beauty industry experience
Are bilingual (Spanish speaker preferred)
