Overview
A Fantastic Sams® stylist provides haircuts, color services, shampoo therapy, styling and other services to women, men and children under leadership’s direct supervision. Stylists deliver all services with an emphasis on providing an excellent experience and building a strong base of return guests. Stylists are expected to follow all company policies and procedures. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Provide Fantastic Guest Service
¤ Acknowledge and greet all guests with friendly, prompt and courteous service
¤ Provide thorough consultations to determine needs and provide solutions
¤ Integrate product recommendations and retail sales into each service
¤ Meet or exceed individual retail and productivity goals
¤ Promote referrals and business building practices; encourage guests to return
Uphold Fantastic Sams® Excellence Standards
¤ Adhere to salon dress code, including appearance standards for hair and makeup
¤ Demonstrate professionalism in behavior and interactions with others at all times
¤ Keep workstation and salon tidy and in compliance with company specs at all times
¤ Maintain standards for growing a profitable salon and reducing waste
¤ Be a Collaborative Team Member
¤ Attend all Fantastic Sams® education events and workshops
¤ Complete assigned duties; ex. housekeeping, stocking & cleaning, opening & closing of salon
¤ Work with others in a positive and cooperative mindset
¤ Participate in salon and team related activities and events
¤ Promote teamwork and demonstrate respectful behaviors always
Required Experience:
¤ A cosmetology certification
¤ Cosmetology license
¤ Proficiency in the latest salon techniques & use of equipment needed to perform technical services.
¤ Ability to communicate effectively, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain strong guest relationships
Additional Requirements:
¤ On a regular basis,
o requires the ability to walk
o requires the ability to reach with hands and arms
o requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
o requires the ability to lift +/- 10lbs
