This part-time position is accountable for driving the retail sales and promoting Dermalogica services, to obtain a defined monthly goal. Working independently and in conjunction with others this person will work diligently to model best Dermalogica practices while delivering defined retail results within a fast-passed, multi-branded retail environment. Execution of planned in-store events on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis. Must work during the hours of 11 AM to 5 or 6 PM on Fridays and Saturdays with select Thursdays and Sundays. Estimated work week of 17 – 23 hours. Territory encompasses partner ULTA doors in Plano, Garland, Denton, Rockwall & McKinney.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and sell Dermalogica, striving to reach defined retail targets
Introduce guests to our services and book appointments for the therapist.
Effectively communicate features and benefits of Dermalogica products.
Provide product and promotional information to Ulta associates.
Execute events designed to meet defined objectives.
Act as a Dermalogica Brand ambassador.
Write weekly recaps – detailing activities, opportunities and challenge.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have a strong background in retail sales and promotional event planning within the skin care, fragrance, or Cosmetic Industry. High energy, outgoing, and creativity required with the ability to interface with a wide range of individuals. Candidate must have a clear understanding of market and consumer needs with the ability to communicate such needs to retail partners and appropriate Dermalogica management.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent selling skills
Strong verbal skills.
Engaging personality- ability to interact with a diverse mix of sales associates and customers
Strong knowledge of the skin care and /or cosmetic industry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation and ability to drive extensively within the territory.
