Job Description: This is for 2 PT positions (Hours are between 20-30/week).
Availability to work weekends is mandatory in our industry.

FRONT DESK/SALES ASSOCIATE FOR HOLISTIC SPA

Function: Offering excellent customer service/information desk and hospitality for our guests and members as well as superb sales skills and assisting in daily operational tasks.
Essential Duties: Providing superlative service to members/guests by answering phone calls and e-mails, checking members in and out for appointments, setting appointments, greeting members/guests upon arrival, selling and renewing memberships and other services, logging and relaying member concerns and daily progress to manager. Assist in maintaining professional, clean and organized front desk, reception/sales area and relaxation room. Execute administrative tasks including filing, data entry of client records and preparing end of the day reports. Other duties as assigned by Spa Management.

Education, Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Basic math and cash handling experience, phone and computer skills.

Excellent people skills and someone who maintains daily renewal/meditation practices preferred.
We desire a well groomed/well dressed service oriented professional that understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy, facials, botanical based products and holistic bodywork.
Our ideal candidate interacts with members/guests, prospective clients, colleagues and management with a positive, solution-oriented attitude; excellent communication/people skills are an absolute necessity.
Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without supervision. Must work cohesively with others in a professional yet fun and fast paced environment.This is as much of a hospitality/customer service job as it is a sales position; being able to speak knowledgeably about what we offer is of the utmost value and importance as a team member.
General knowledge of services and modalities offered in a spa environment is needed and training is provided to fulfill this aspect of the job – natural interest and knowledge in this area is a great asset. Knowledge of MILLENNIUM software is also a plus.
Physical Demands: Standing often, walking back and forth, bending over, light lifting.
